My surname is Betts.
I have been told that my paternal grandfather was Irish and that his mother's maiden name was Noonan.
My mother's maiden name was Henaghan, and according to family lore, her paternal grandfather was from Ireland.
I would appreciate help in tracking down these family names.

My neighbours in County Donegal are Noonans. It is an unusual name in these parts but I think their ancestors came from County Clare.
