Rennison - Shinrone Offaly

In reply to a post by Antoinette regarding Rennison Family of Shinrone.

It is quite some time since you posted (Sept 2016) - My  G.G.Grandfather was Michael Rennison, and this is what I found on his family. I have a lot more info on Michael and his brother Moses.

WILLIAM1 RENNISON was born on 06 Mar 1768 in Shinrone, County Offaly, Ireland.

Baptism records for all the children at Church of Ireland, Shinrone say the father was William Rennison (also spelt Renason)- no mother was recorded at the baptism, there was no occupation listed for James, but on Williams cert. it said he was a weaver as on Robt. W., on Sarah and Michael's he was a sub-constable, and by Moses birth he was a weaver again.
On Moses's marriage certificate, Moses said his father was a carpet weaver.

   Date of birth is a christening date, at the Church of Ireland in Shinrone. Death of Robert and Elizabeth was registered in Birr (Parsontown) Offaly.

4. SARAH RENNISON was born on 08 Apr 1801 in Shinrone, County Offaly, Ireland.
