My gr gr grandparents, Michael ROUGHAN and Elizabeth DOLAN, married in the Parish of Parteen 27 Nov 1832. Witnesses were Michael LAUGHLIN and Geoffrey DOLAN (a brother who later married Anne TORMY in Co. Westmeath). No residence was given for anyone. The first child of Michael and Elizabeth was Mary ROUGHAN baptized 6 Nov 1833 in the Parish of Parteen. Residence stated as Cratloe. Other children, Martin 1835, Patrick 1840 , Bridget 1841, John 1844, Eliza 1846 and Ann 1852 were also baptized in the Parish of Parteen. Residence for these children stated as Derra. The family began immigrating to Chicago, Illinois in the mid 1860's, the last being Michael and Elizabeth in 1874. Judith Mason b. Chicago, IL - currently living in Portsmouth ,VA

I looked at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Kilfintinan civil parish and there was a Michael Rohan listed in Ballintlea townland possibly your ancestor. There was not Michael Rohan or Roughan in Kilseily civil parish.
