Mary Phounds-Gannon (nee Kelleher) married John Laurence Pfounds-Gannon/Gannon in Clonmel in 1925. They had the following children in Clonmel:- Theresa Elizabeth (1926), Mary (1928), Magdalen A (1929), James J (1931) & Josephine (1933). At some point after 1933 the family moved to Cork. my research indicates that James (Jim) died in 2008. I am related through Mary Kelleher & would love to make contact with any of her descendants to see if they have any information on Mary's family. Mary's grandmother, Catherine Kelleher (nee Mahony), was my great grandfather's sister & I would gladly pass on the information I have acquired on this branch of the family to any of her descendants.
Many thanks

Dear Doreen
Our volunteer hasn't been able to find out any more but suggests that maybe if the 2008 Death Certificate be obtained, it will give the informants name and address
Best wishes

Hi Doreen. I have just come across this post whilst researching the family name, and my eyes nearly popped out when I read it. My name is John, and my mom was Magellan Angela. I am one of three children she had, and I am in constant contact with all the family who still live in Cork. Mom and dad moved to England in the mid 50's, while aunties Terry, Maura, Josephine and uncle Jim continued to live in Cork, where they all had families, who all STILL live in Cork. If you need any more info, I can give you all you could possibly need. Please get in touch....as it would also be great to find out about Nana, and how my whole family came in to existance.

Hi John
Would you like to contact me at dopreston@hotmail.com & I will gladly share the information I have.
I did find a mobile number for your cousin Gordon in Cork, about 12 months ago & was in contact with him & your cousin John for a while. I actually did some research for them on the Pfounds -Gannon family & have some interesting newspaper cuttings about your grandfather's brother William. I did manage to trace & speak to William's daughter.
Your mum was my 3rd cousin so you are my 3rd cousin once removed!
Looking forward to hearing from you
