My great grandmother was Lizzie Costelloe born in 1884 in dysart,her father was Matthew born in 1826 in St Mary's Athlone .
The family was a large one , Matthew married 3 times , my great grandmother 's mother was Maria Beckett, originally from Liverpool, Matthew's second wife, she died in 1887 and he then remarried a Mary Duff and had a further 3 children.
The family stayed in the village the whole time I believe Matthew died in 1914 ?
I would love more information about what happened to the whole family. My great grandmother married Michael O' Brien in 1903 and moved to Greenpark.

The townland was Rathnamuddagh.
Below are the 1901 and 1911 census records for the family. Looks like Mary in the 1901 census died before 1911. Matthew actually died in 1917. See link below. You need to sign-in to see the record. Also, below is the civil birth record for Lizzie.
