This year's Great Irish Fair will go on! Due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic this year's Great Irish Fair will be held virtually on Facebook on September 19th

39th Great Irish Fair of New York

Featuring the music of The Canny Brothers Band, The Narrowbacks, Andy Cooney and his band, Susan and Gerard, and the reunion of The Whole Shabang!

The Fair this year will be unlike anything the Irish community has ever seen and we look forward to you joining us and celebrating our culture online.

Some highlights from this year's fantastic line-up include...

The Whole Shabang

They burst onto the Irish music scene with hits like Dreamers and Believers. After making their mark in the hearts of Irish music lovers The Whole Shabang stepped away from music in the 2000's leaving a massive hole in the Irish music world. We are happy to announce The Whole Shabang will be reuniting for a one-time performance at the 39th Annual Great Irish Fair. Tune in live right here on Facebook on September 19th to watch "...the music makers" make music one more time.

The Canny Brothers

The Canny Brothers Band are keeping the Irish tradition alive in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. Heavily influenced by a wide variety of musical styles the CBB brings a truly unique and spirited approach to Irish music. On their latest album, "One Drop of Whiskey" (which has gotten airplay on Sirius satellite radio on Larry Kirwan's Celtic Crush and WFUV on Ceol na nGael), the band's versatility is evident in original songs like "Donnelly" about the legendary Irish boxer Dan Donnelly and on their jammin' take on the Saw Doctors classic "The Green and Red of Mayo", among others

Andy Cooney

Andy Cooney has eight Carnegie Hall sellouts under his belt and on December 12, 2016, filled The David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center with The New York Tenors. His outstanding voice and dynamic stage presence have long been a favorite among young and old alike. His talent and versatility provide the ability to deliver a song directly to the hearts of his audience; Andy is surely one of the greatest singing sensations on the Irish Music scene today. Christened Irish America’s Favorite Son by The New York Times, it is a title he richly deserves. Andy Cooney is one of The New York Tenors, along with New York Italian Tenor Christopher Macchio and New York Puerto Rican Tenor Daniel Rodriquez, a trio which has been receiving high critical acclaim for a number of years.
