The Show Must Go On! A Franco-Irish St Patrick’s Day Celebration

Paris, March 9th, 2021 - In lieu of the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in the Latin Quarter of Paris, the Irish in France diaspora will take their St Patrick’s Day festivities online this year on Sunday March 14th at 7pm CET (6pm Irish time). The Irish in France community will be joined by special guests from the world of music, stage, film and television led by Ryan Tubridy and will include musicians Lisa Lambe,  Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Mundy, actress Mary Murray, actor and comedian Ardal O’Hanlon, the Cairde dancers and a few other surprises.

Marking this important moment to celebrate a shared and treasured, centuries-old friendship with their adopted country of France, H.E. Ambassador of Ireland to France Patricia O’Brien, will share St Patrick's Day greetings to open the celebration.

Paul Lynch, President of the Irish in France Association said, “It is a great pleasure to celebrate this special moment together as an Irish community and we are honoured to be joined by such talented guests from Ireland. Our St Patrick’s Day festivities celebrate the strong bonds between Ireland and France and we are keen for this to continue during these challenging times.”
