Living with Pride

The National Library of Ireland is looking forward to the upcoming exhibition Living with Pride: Photographs by Christopher Robson, at the National Photographic Archive in Summer 2021 (opening will be subject to the prevailing public health advice).

The exhibition will also be available to enjoy online.

Christopher Robson was a founding member of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network (GLEN). His photographic collection of around 2,000 slides, which document LGBTI+ life and activism in Ireland and elsewhere, was donated to the Library in 2015 by Bill Foley, Christopher’s partner. The exhibition will focus specifically on Robson’s photography, life, work, and achievements. The exhibition is accompanied by a programme of online events exploring Irish LGBTI+ identity and experience during the last several decades, and into the present day.
