The Way We Were Exhibition
When: Friday, 12 February, 2016It is a new concept using old objects, bringing young and old together through living history by showing old implements and artifacts from earlier times to Primary School Pupils. Showing how they were used and explaining to them how life was in the past. It provides a wonderful experience for both young and old. The programme brings history to life in a way that textbooks cannot. It allows participants to touch, feel and see history while also getting a first-hand account of what it was like to live in Ireland in times gone by.
