My great, great, great grandfather was Abraham Birchill from County Cork. He married Catherine Hurley. They lived in the area around Skibbereen. His eldest daughter was Mary Birchill. She was baptised in the Parish of Aughadown in the townland of Dromnacaheragh. I would love to know where Abraham came from as I have been told he was a settler in Ireland?
