Mayo Constitution 11 July 1837

MARRIED At the residence of the bride’s father, on the 6th inst., by the Very Rev. Dean Bourke, Alexander O’Malley, of Eden, in this County, to Mary, third daughter of Joseph Bourke, Esq., Greenhill immediately after the ceremony, which was attended by a number of most respectable gentlemen, the happy pair set off for Dublin.

DIED At his residence in this county, after a painful and protracted illness, which he bore with Christian fortitude and patience, Alexander O'Malley of Eden Esq. The deceased is much and deservedly regretted by his friends and acquaintances and has left a widow and young family to lament the loss of a kind husband and father.
