  • Her father was Andrew and mother was Alice Hanna in Boconnel.  THey went to Lurgan Fisrt Presbyterian Church.  Several of the kids, Andrew and George, went to Amsterdam, NY.  I have some gravestone pictures of them.  If you woud like them, I'll post them or e-mail them. . Nathaniel was in  Manhattan, NY when he married, I think.  William John was thought to have emigrated to Australia, also.

  • Thanks, Kat  -- I have now received your email and the heaps of information and photos.

Great to connect, and to fill some gaps !

    Alice Geddes was my great-grandmother.

My mother Olive Jeanette Horrocks was the daughter of Rebecca Jane Brown, who was the daughter of Alice Geddes.

  • Hi - not sure if this is allowed so please let me know if now. Alice Geddes was my maternal great-great grandmother. My mother Laura Marion (1934 - ) is the daughter of Robert Archibald ( 1908 - 1982) who was the son of James Andrew (1868 - 1945). James Andrew was the first born of Alice and John Brown. I have a bit more info on John Brown (1841 - 1916) if interested.

  • Hi, Janelle   ...    for sure we are related  -- I have Robert Archibald B and James Andrew B in my tree.  Robert Archibald is (was) my first cousin once removed - James Andrew B was my "great uncle".

Would be great to follow up  - seems you can fill a few blank spots.

How about private email to me :  james@jameshuey.com
