Ann Fehalay (one of hundreds of possible spellings) came to England from Cork between 1841 and 1851. She first appears, as Ann Pheley, in the 1851 England and Wales census, then, as Ann Fehalay, on her marriage certificate to Patrick Gorman who came from Tipperary. They settled in Camberwell, Surrey. Her father was Denis, a butcher, who was probably born around 1800.
