Anna J Collins was born in Ireland, was married there, and had two children with her husband, Alexander Trotter, there before immigrating to the United States in 1851. They never returned to Ireland. The rest of their children were born in the United States. Annie (as she was known) died at her home in Tennent, New Jersey, in 1898.
