Migrated to/Born in New Zealand

Anne Kennedy was born in Glenlee, Donegal in 1847. She was orphaned, I imagine due to famine and her and 2 sisters made their way to New Zealand, supposedly with an uncle. She married a Scot, William Mercer. Her sister Rebecca married Peter George and her sister Elizabeth married Joseph Haughton. All three men were gold miners and they all settled in the small South Island town of Roxburgh. There a so many desendants of these 3 families and none know their history in Ireland. The 3 of them were born Roman Catholic but Rebecca converted to Methodist. I am not sure about the others.
