  • Hello Joe Q, sorry I’m just seeing your message. I would love to swap information on the Haran/Kildunne family. I have a tree on Ancestry.com. I noticed someone from the McClintocks family reached out as well. A McClintock family member reached out to me on Ancestry. We were able to share some photos and info. Feel free to contact me.

  • Hi all. Thank you for your interest. I suppose what I'm really looking for is Peter Haran's siblings and which Knox townland they lived in. I know Peter's father was Thomas but I don't know his mother's name. Any info on this?. I can share more if you contact me on my private email.

  • I can confirm my grandfather, Peter’s son, Thomas was baptized at the All Saints Church, Killasser, Swinford. The sponsors for his baptism were Martin Haran and Mary Kildunne. His birth cert says Swinford, Mayo. I do not have definitive info on Peters mother. Peter lists his fathers name on marriage cert as Thomas. Perhaps Peter was baptized in same church which may list parents names. Hope this helps.  More searching needs to be done.
