Annie Donaldson was born about 1865 in Clogher, Tyrone. She was my great grandmother.
Her parents were Anne Brackenridge and James Donaldson. (It's not confirmed they were married but I can see from one only record that they lived in Killyneery, Tyrone for a time).
In 1883 when Annie Donaldson was aged about 18 years of age, she migrated alone to New Zealand on the vessel SS Westmeath.
She married Frederick Butt on 9 November 1886 in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
Annie was mother to Frederick Charles Butt 1887, Alfred Joseph Butt 1889, William John Butt 1891, Mary Annie Butt 1895, James Henry Butt 1897, George Edward Butt 1900 and Elizabeth Alice Butt 1902
Annie died in Opotiki, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand on 5 September 1929.
