In the 1821 census Annie was a flax spinner. Her husband, James, was a smallholder with 6 acres. They lived in knockatogher.
Shortly after the census, one of her sons murdered her mother and they seem to have moved away after this. The only feint clue as to where they moved suggests they may have moved to Cappataggle.
An Anne Lally died there in 1837.
