Anthony Lyons died in Manorhamilton Workhouse in December 1916. He was from Oggal in nearby Blacklion, Co Cavan.
He married Ellen McHugh from Annagh, Glenfarne. In the 1901 and 1911 census he was living in the Ardmoneen Glenfarne with his daughter Mary Anne, her husband Francis Keoghan and their children.
He was a gatekeeper.
