Arabella Teresa Maria Locke was born in 1818 in Dublin City to Arabella Shaw and William Locke. The family was Quaker, and Arabella became a Catholic in1836 to marry Patrick Matthew Seaver of Lusk parish, Co. Dublin, in the Ballyboughal Catholic church.. They lived in Ballyboughal on a large farm just outside the village. They had 4 children, Patrick, Joseph, Teresa and Mary. In 1864 the family immigrated to Ireland. The 2 sons remained in Ireland. Arabella died in 1906 in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
