Place & Date of Baptism Archibald was born to Patrick Delargey and Mary McLean around 1843 in the Culfreighton parish, Ballycastle, Antrim.  
Number of Siblings Archibald was one of 11 children; Neale, Archibald, Robert, Daniel, Alexander, Jane, Ann, Patrick, James, John and Mary.  
Spouse (First Name/s and Maiden/Surname) Archibald married Brigid Claire Fitzgerald originally from Shanagolden, Limerick, in Queenstown, New Zealand on 10 May 1873. NZ Marriage registration Number: 1873/11233.  
Number of Children Archibald and Brigid had 10 children. They were James Patrick, Archibald, Edward, Robert, Patrick, Catherine Ann, John James, Archibald Patrick, Mary Jane and Francis Thomas.  
Occupation Archibald Delargey came to NZ in the early 1860s and became one of the best-known and oldest residents of the mining township, Waikaia, Southland, New Zealand, where he eventually ran the local Commercial hotel.  
Place of Death Archibald died on 13 May 1909 in Waikaia where he is buried in the Catholic cemetery with his wife, Brigid
