Bridget Donaho born abt 1829/30 in County Clare.

According to Bridget donaho/Donahue transportation papers from Ireland to Tasmania Australia, her trial was held in Galway although a NATIVE OF COUNTY CLARE. There are two dates with one crossed out and another taking its place, namely 4 Jan 1848 crossed out and then 6th april 1848, either way she left Dublin on the ship Kinnear 16th Jun 1848 arriving in Tasmania Australia 7th October 1848. She is described as being her 1st offence having stolen 3 pound (I am assuming from her employer) she was a nursery maid, obviously in some gentry's home. Her stature is but 4.11" oval face, tiny person, grey eyes, dark hair, no blemishes and is listed as being "single never married". Would truly love to know more about her, especially her kin folk, Possibly her sister name is Norah and brother Michael, . Where did she live and where were her parents when she committed this offence.
