Bridget Gilligan was born about 1842 and married Edward Galvin in about 1864. They had six children.

Bridget Galvin was baptised 15 July 1865.

Margaret Galvin was baptised 1 June 1867. 

Elizabeth Galvin was baptised 3 April 1869. 

Martin Galvin was baptised 24 November 1870. 

Eleanor Galvin was baptised 4 March 1874 

Joseph Galvin was baptised 23 March 1878. 

Bridget was 59 when she died from chronic Bright’s disease (renal failure) and uraemic convulsions in Castlereagh on 22 September 1901. If the age on the entry of death is correct, then Bridget was 23 when she gave birth to her first child. Her son Joseph registered the death on 26 September 1901. Her husband Edward had died the year before.
