Migrated to/Born in UK
Bridget Healey was born around 1826 in Tuam, Galway. She married Michael Lally and their daughter Mary Lally was born in August 1848 in Tuam. By the 1851 UK Census the family was living in Pennington, Lancashire, and their four other children were born over the next few years around the same area: Bartholomew (1852), Margaret (1853), Michael (1855), Patrick (1857).
Bridget and Michael's son Patrick Lally married Mary Ford, whose parents (Margaret Sweeney and Thomas Ford) had also moved from Tuam to Lancashire at around the same time, so it seems likely that they connected with an established community from Tuam in their new home.
