Bridget Kearney was born to John Kearney and Margaret Larkin ca 1857. She lived in the townland of Luney in Desertmartin before emigrating to New York City ca 1873. In NY, she worked as a silkweaver prior to marrying Thomas Curley at the Church of St Michael, 383 9th Ave, on 18 Sept 1880. Thomas Curley was a saloonkeeper in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood and Bridget ran a candy shop at the same address for a time.
