I am looking for any information on Charles P. McKiernan born in 1852 in Shantemon, County Cavan. I beleive his father was Patrick McKiernan. Charles married Bridget Brady in 1874 in Ballyhaise, County Cavan. They immigrated to the United States with their 4 children in 1883. Any information would be helpful. Thank You.

The only Bridget Kierman I have on my tree is married to Robert McCleary around 1817,her date of birth is between 1765 and 1800 ,

Alice, thanks for quick reponse. I am researching Kiernan's in RC parish of Oldcastle Co. Meath. I could not find this marriage in parish records between years 1816-1819. Do you have any other information suggesting your ancestor is from Oldcastle ( Co. Meath )? I have found Kiernan's & McCleerys ( John ) in the townlands of Milltown & hamlet of Clondervish ) in the 1824 Tithe Applotment books in the civil parish of Moylagh just south of the town of Oldcastle, Co. Meath. The only Bridget Kiernan I could find was baptized on 28 Dec 1790 in RC parish of Oldcastle. Her parents are listed as Michael Kiernan & Anne Reilly. Reilly can also be found in hamlet of Clondervish. Thanks for any other insights.
