Bridget Leary was born in Ballynablon, The Glen, Co.Kerry on Jan.12th, 1854 to John Leary and Mary Moran.
She was possibly the youngest of 4 sisters Mary, Ellen, and Kate. All emigrated to Norwich Conn
before 1880 as they all can be found there. Their mother Mary Moran died soon after Bridget's birth.
Bridget married Thomas Burke in Norwich in 1881 and they had six children, 3 boys, and 3 girls.
boys Thos, John, William, Girls Gertrude, Ann, and Elizabeth. Bridget was widowed from around
1905 on but she herself lived until 1937. She or any of her sisters didn't return to Ireland.
