Bridget Mary Delia TYNAN was born in Higginstown, county of Kilkenny on either 1 Novembr, 1854 or 1855. At a later date, I will check all my files
to confirm the exact date and attach some of them to this record. Her parents were William and Bridget (nee Corrigan/Carrigan) of Higginstown,
Co Clara, Kilkenny. She had many siblings - some of whom migrated to Australia. But Bridget Mary (known mostly as Mary during her life in
Australia) seemed to come to Australia on her own as a teenager. She married in 1880 in Townsville, Queensland, Australia to Sidney George
Pegus and had a very large number of children here. She died in Brisbane, Queensland in 1948.
