I am also researching Bridget and unfortunately there is no death certificate for her. She gave birth to a son John S Brown in the year of her death and he dies atva few months of age. Her husband Charles William Brown was at that time the editor of a newspaper in Sydney. He was charged and found guilty ofbsedition and sent to goal for two years. Upon his release he moved to Hobart, Van Dlemans Land. He continued to work for newspapers in Hobart until hisbdeath.

i have more research on the Brown line and woukd appreciate any available McGuggin information.
