I desperately need help to find out who my great grandmother was. I have the marriage registry for her son- my grandfather Patrick Joseph McPhillips. DOB abt 1817, marriage abt 1842. Her name has been altered and I have tried every permutation to find her. In 1901- Latnamard Census Patrick, Bridget, Francis, Anne, Mary Ellen Fitzpatrick ( granddaughter) and farm servant appear on the register. In 1911 - Latnamard, Patrick has died 1903. Bridget, Francis, Anne and Mary Ellen. Bridget says 11 children born 7 living.
I have the following children for Patrick and Bridget- Rose- married Peter McEntee then Owen McPhillips. Joseph married Mary Shreenan/Greennan. Mary - no other details. Francis Bachelor in RIC. Anne- spinster. Catherine mother to Mary Ellen died in childbirth. Alice married Michael Connolly.
I have written to the parish Priest for Latnamard to ask if there are any more details about the family with no success. i can find no burial details.
