Who posted this? According to family tradition, my great-great-grandfather John Beirne (born 1827, in or near Ballinameen) parents were John Beirne and Brigid White or Ward. This Brigid seems to fit all the criteria. Even the names of her children repeat in succeeding generations in my family. They had a farm in the townland of Bella, near Ardagh. My g-g-grandfather married Winifred Tansey in 1850.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
