I am looking for records of Ellen O’Mara, sister of Catherine, Francis and Elizabeth O’Mara. Catharine was the daughter of Patrick O’Mara and Margaret Gleeson. Catherine was baptized on 18 Jan 1846, according to Youghalgarra parish records at Ancestry.com https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/61039/images/02482_09_0122?pId=748667 Her brother Francis and sister, Elizabeth were baptized in Nenagh in 1842 and 1851, respectively, according to Nenagh parish records at Ancestry. Ellen could have been born in either Youghalgarra or Nenagh, depending on her birthdate. Ellen O’Mara may have been born in 1847, 1850 or 1856, depending on which US census record I view. I’d love to find information about the entire family. I have many dna matches who descend from Gleesons who lived in the area around Nenagh. Thank you for your assistance! |
