  • Catherine Tully and Joseph Watkins actually had 4 daughters - Mary Anne, Harriet, Margaret and Ellen.

    Harriet married Richard Wells

Margaret married George Grover, they had 13 children.  Margaret and George are my great-grandparents on my fathers side.

    Hope this info helps.

  • Hi, do you happen to know who Catherine and Bridget's father was?  Is it on their marriage certificates?  They arrived the same year as my ancestress 1853, although mine was Ellen Tully on the Travancore, arriving January.  There aren't many Tully's so I often wondered if they were related?  Ellen's father was James Tully, a linendraper, according to her first marriage.  It was Thomas Tully, a linendraper, on the 2nd - although this is more likely to be the error as her husband's father's name was Thomas.
