Catherine Mathers was born in Scotland about 1852. She married Joseph Stuart Pozzi 18 July 1878 in Sandymount, Dublin, Ireland in Sandymount Presbyterian church. By 1894 they lived at 56 Belgrave Square near Rathmines in Dublin, Ireland. [3] Joseph died that year and in 1901, Kate and children lived at 3 Waterloo Avenue, Dublin. Kate passed away from Lateral Spinal Sclerosis on the 27 May 1904.
