Catherine Murphy's parents were Anthony Murphy and Mary Cavanagh, and her paternal grandparents were Peter Murphy and Mary Dempsey. Her maternal grandparents were Patrick and Mary Cavanagh.
Catherine was born in Castelconor parish, and am not sure when she traveld to U.S. Census records indicate in her early 20's, but don't have specific information. I believe her parents stayed behind in Dooyeaghny or Cloonloughan.
She ended up in Youngstown, OH where she married my great grandfather, Patrick Rochford in 1891. Catherine's nephew Anthony Murphy (father Catherine's brother Anthony Murphy) also settled in Youngstown. He married Catherine O'Hara.
