I am looking for information on a Colonel Vesey, who was mentioned in the marriage of my ancestor in 1805.
In 1805 James Kirby married Suzanna Bluet n Lucan and listed his occupation as "Servant Colonel Vesey".
Marriage Registry:
There is also an Amelia Vesey who is listed as Lessor on many properties in Griffiths Valuation in both Lucan and Leixslip. There is also a "Vesey Arms Hotel" in Lucan which is now Kenny's Bar in the town center. A Thomas Colthurst Vesey is the proprietor of the Hotel/Inn in the later 1800s. Any information about them would be greatly appreciated. Are Amelia and the Colonel related? Is Thomas their son or ?? Thank you!
