The locket is a family heirloom that came to me as Delia's namesake. I do not know its provenance but I think it dates from Delia's time in Australia as the other side of the locket features her Scottish husband whom she met and married here.

Is there a photo of the guest house, 'Mountain View', in Kinvara, a place connected to Delia's family through her mother and, later, her sister and brother-in-law, Kate-Anne and Martin O'Grady?
