He died on August 9, 1910, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 89 years. Dominick came to America in 1847 along with his brothers, John, James and Patrick. They all settled in the Scranton, Pa area. Their brother Bernard emigrated from Scotland in 1883 with his wife and children. Bernard's eldest daughter, Margaret, married and remained in Scotland.
