Migrated to/Born in Australia
Immigrated to Australia, along with brother James, possibly others family members also. Edmond married Ellen Griffin at St Patricks, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1862. Later settling in central Victoria town of Carisbrook in the heart of the goldfields. Ellen was also from Tipperary, Ireland, daughter of John Griffin and Margaret O'Brien.
Four sons were born at Carisbrook, James 1864, John 1866, Edmond 1870 and Cornelius 1877. As yet we have been unsuccessful in connecting Edmond to any records or family in Ireland.
