Looking for any information on Eliza Macnamara bpt 16 april 1859 in Tulla Clare to Patrick Macnamara and Margaret Higgins. .

1875. Patrick also baptised in Tulla though the others in Quon and other in Clare. 

John and Bridget I believe went to America and Eliza to Australia. Eliza came to Australia in 1881 on the ship Earl Dalhouse. Port of departure Plymouth England..Port of Arrival Brisbane 3rd Feb 1881.

Her Father Patrick had died before she left Ireland. I would like some information on her parents as I have been searching for wherabouts of their birth dearh and marriage and get a blank wall. I have done dna with FTDNA. My kit no is T 649492. Hoping to hear from someone soon Thanks Noela Green

    I saw your post here and I thought that I would reply.  I have made some progress on my own research with my McNamaras from Tyredagh.  I used the transcribed baptism register and checked who my great-x3 grandfather stood for as a baptismal sponsor.  It appears that the McNamaras and the Lynches were connected as they were siblings (parents).  I’m wondering if this would help with your own research.  I see that Mrs. Mary Lynch is a baptismal sponsor for one of the children of Patrick and Mary.  It might help with our figuring out our own connection?  Let me know what you think.

  • Hello Jane, I'm still searching for any research on Patrick McNamara  and Margaret Higgins.I did see that the Lynch name comes up a bit in the things I've looked at. Would like to know when Patrick died as I know he had died before his daughter Eliza  came to Australia in 1880 my G grandmother, .Of the Higgins side I have found nothing.I havn't found anything in Ireland Roots , The marriage I cant find.  Did you find any more on our connections through FTDNA, From memory nothing showed in yours and mine though it did show in my sisters and yours or your brothers.

    Was wondering if you've found anything more
