My Great Grandmother, Eliza (Elizabeth) Quigley Patterson.  Daughter of John and Sarah McConnell of Belfast.  Eliza married Alexander Patterson (Tyrone) on 27 09 1893 at the  Parish of St Thomas' Church of Ireland, Belfast, County Antrim. 

Alexander lived at 21 Princes, she  lived at 28 Albion when they got married. Eliza's father was a Coach Builder, Alexander's lists his as a Labourer.  Witnesses John Peden & Minnie Quigley.

Eliza and Alexander had four children: Robert, William Clarence, Sarah (Sadie) and my grandmother Elizabeth (Lillian) Patterson Hunter. Alexander was a Ship's Plater and the family moved to Hartlepool, England around 1900. They are listed in England in 1901 census.  Robert (Bert) and William (Bill) were both born in Belfast.  The two girls were born in Hartlepool. At some point Alexander moved the family to work again in Belfast.  Family story says he came back to work on the Titanic.  In the 1911 census, they are living with Elizabeth's mom, Sarah Quigley and a couple siblings in Belfast. 

Alexandeer died in Tynemouth, England in 1925.  Bert and Bill, their son's moved to Australia.  Sadie had immigrated to Canada and eventually settled in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  My grandma Lillian immigrated to Canada and settled in Detroit, where she met my grandpa, James Vincent Hunter.  Eliza Quigley Patterson had immigrated to Canada after her husband died, then moved in with my grandma and family in Michigan, where she eventually died on September 20, 1956.
