Ellen Crone about 1812 to 1877 owned land in Buttevant Cork noted on the Griffiths valuations She married William Couche in 1837 in St Finbars Church Cork and Ross Her husband William Couche 1810-1849 was a bootmaker owned land in Brigown in 1848.They moved to Brigown Mitchelstown and had sons Richard Couche 1838 who stayed in Brigown Mitchelstown and had 13 children and became a loan officer William his brother 1845 -1913 migrated to Ballarat Australia married Mary Ann Mccarthy 1843-1914 and became superintendant of police there Would like to find their other children and Williams parents They may be linked to Henry and Susanna Couche in Mitchelstown who went to Canada as Peter Ribinson settlers in 1825 as both were bootmakers May also be linked to Edward Couche 1820 bootmaker from Monkestown Cork married Elizabeth Christie in 1845 in Monkestown Cork father Silas His father Aaron Couche 1784 married Anne Cox 1787 from Killaloe Clare father Robert Cox about 1760 Killaloe Clare Ellen Crone Couche may have married again after husbands death in 1849 Any help greatly appreciated
