Ellen Mary “Nellie” Sullivan born 22 Sept. 1875, Derrycreveen, Bere Island. Parents: Daniel J O’Sullivan (Cumba) and Mary Lindsay

Emigrated to the US with her parents in the 1880's. Married James Joseph Troy in Boston in 1894, and later moved to New York City. After her husband's death she moved to Boston where her two sons were policemen. James J. Troy Jr. and Thomas A. Troy.
