Ellen is my Great Grandmother. Her parents are Patrick Mulvey and Bridget Gillooly. Patrick was a farmer. Ellen's birth register states: County Leitrim, District of Drumshambo, Superintendent Register District of Carrick on Shannon, place if birth Moher Gregg, Parish Kiltoghert. She was born in 1881. Her mother registered her January 13, 1882. She immigrated about 1900 to New York City and on June 11,1905 married William T McCormick. I wear their wedding band with their initials date inscribed. One of their daughters, Cecilia, is my maternal Grandmother. I have a photo copy of this birth register.
