I have an ancestor, Ellenor Thompson who married Richard Savage. Ellenor was born about 1816 and possibly died 1875 aged 59 at Coolrakelly - District of Brookboro (Brookborough?), Union of Lisnaskea. There is a death registered in the name Ellen Salvage and an obituary for the same date for Ellen Savage, so it must be the same person. Present at her death was Eliza Montgomery. Richard and Ellenor were said to have had a farm 10 miles east of Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. At death of Richard the farm was transferred to son, Andrew Savage. They belonged to the Methodist Church.
She was said to have 10 children, all but one, Andrew Savage, emigrated to Australia. Andrew married twice and did not have any children. Children were born at several places: one at Brookborough, one at Creagh and the rest at Lisboy, County Fermanagh. Children were: Richard, Jane, John, Robert, James, William, Thomas Henry, Ellenor, Mary Ann, Thompson and Andrew.
Could Ellenor Thompson be related to this Esther Thompson - an aunt perhaps? Would love some information as not much is known of her.
