Francis Percy Cuthbert 1893 : Short Biography

My father, FRANCIS PERCY CUTHBERT, was born in 1893 in BRAY, COUNTY WICKLOW, IRELAND, as were his direct ancestors, my grandfather, FRANCIS GEORGE CUTHBERT; my great grandfather, ROBERT CUTHBERT; my 2x great grandfather, WILLIAM CUTHBERT; and my 3x great grandfather, CHRISTOPHER CUTHBERT. I’ve traced the descendants of William Cuthbert down to the present. But Christopher Cuthbert had a number of other children besides my William. William’s siblings were: Mary, Robert, Christopher, Charles, John and Jane. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows what happened to them and their descendants, or is researching this family. Here’s an article from the Bray and South Dublin Herald , Saturday, July 27th, 1901, about my great grandfather, Robert. He died at 1 Rutland Square in Dublin and was buried at St. Paul's cemetery in Bray where his gravestone can still be seen. "THE LATE ROBERT CUTHBERT, BRAY "It is with feelings of the most extreme regret that we have to announce the death of Mr. Robert Cuthbert, for so many years one of the most respected residents and business-men of Bray.... “The deceased was a member of one of the oldest and most respected families of the district as was testified to by the enormously large concourse which attended the funeral on Thursday. "Seldom indeed has so large a concourse been seen at a funeral in the township no matter to what rank in the social scale ones attention may be turned. The list of names would be so large that it would be impossible for us to attempt to reproduce it here. We will content ourselves, perforce, with tendering our sincere sympathy to those who have been bereaved by his demise."
