Francis Seymour was the son of John Joseph (JJ) Seymour and Margaret Elizabeth Anderson. He was baptized at St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel at 6 St. Mary’s Place, Island Road, Limerick on 15 July 1847. His Godparents were Francis Seymour and Mary Lee. The priest was Rev W. Brahan. Francis emigrated with his family from Limerick to New York on Barque Celeste during the summer of 1850. He lived in Orange, New Jersey and died from the measles. He is buried in St John’s Cemetery in Orange.
