Garret Barry is my great great grand father, he married Catherine Toner, timeandplace unknown. I have a proven family tree by using Y DNA and autosomal DNA. The couple had several sons my great grand father was Michael Barry born july 1857 in Drogheda , Co Louth, Brother Patrick DOB and loaction unknown but estimated DOB 1862, Lawrence Barry and his brother Garrett Jn were born in Belfast 1864 and 1868 resp.  Catherine died at the age of est. 40 years in Belfast in 1879. Soome aftter the family was moved to Glasgow Scotland, and then to Edinburgh, where Garret died in 1886 and was reported by another son James. Garretts parents were recorded as John Barry & Mary Sullivan farmers, nothing else known. There are no Scotish Census entries for the family in 1881 or 1891.  My great grand father moved to Portsea, Hampshire after 1881 and remarried in 1886 to a local woman May Anne Louse Brockway, they had a large family , my grand father was the youngest child.  Patrick moved from Scotland to Dublin and had a large family, subsequent generations migrated to England.
