George Brown left Ireland with his parents in 1848, William and Anna Eliza Brown from Northern Ireland, Donacavey, Ardnatinney townland, Fintona. He was a baby around 1 years old. They were on the U.S. census in 1860, but not anywhere I can find in the U.S.A, until the census of 1860. They may have went to Canada first, for they had relatives there. William was a farmer, and became a laborer along with his son in the U.S. His parents spoke Irish when they came to this country, and they lived with their son until they died after 1901. All three are buried in Greenup, Kentucky in the Brown cemetery on GreenBow Lake.
