George O'Connor was born in 1833 in Castleconnell, Limerick.
George married Catherine Davis (1835-1897) at St Patrick's Church, Limerick in March 1857.
Soon after the couple migrated to Victoria, AU, where they had Mary Jane and Ann before they migrated to Hokitikia, NZ. There they had Charles, Catherine, Margaret, Elizabeth, George and Helene.
George and Catherine remained in Hokitika, NZ and are buried there.
